Current Volunteer Trainings

Video: Addressing how trauma can impact brain development. The video takes place in an alternative school. The video helps us understand some of behaviors we may see in children. http://www.papertigersmovie.com/#home-section

Training: Creating Trauma Informed Systems: Utilizing a Trauma Perspective to Advocate for Your Clients and Inform Court Decisions. Mental Health First Aid: Offered by Mindspings Health, in Summit County. Adult MHFA January 20th and Youth MHFA January 13, 2016. Learn Evidence Based practice for understanding & responding to people experiencing mental health and substance abuse crisis. www.mhfaco.org

For the sixth year running, Community First Foundation & First Bank are partnering to present Colorado Gives day, on December 8th. It’s a state wide movement to celebrate & increase philanthropy in Colorado, through on-line giving. http://www.coloradogives.org
