First Annual NonProfit Carnival

Goal: Provide a fun, family friendly, community event that engages youth while they and their families learn more about the nonprofit organizations in Summit County and the services they provide.

Expectations: Each entity will have an activity, craft, or game that the youth can participate in with a benefit to the child. This may be in the form of a small prize (sucker, sticker, token), take home craft, or in the example of face painting – a painted face. In addition, each entity can provide fliers or brochures about their services.

How it works: Each child will receive two free tickets to participate. Additional tickets are available for purchase at the ticket booths for .50 each. Entities can determine how many tickets are required to participate. We encourage you to remain inexpensive (1 or 2 tickets) but not free.

Booth Bingo: Each entity is encouraged to participate in booth bingo where youth get a stamp on their bingo card on your space. Once full they turn the card in to participate in a drawing for a larger prize.

Amenities: Food and beverage vendors and access to the Marina Park bathrooms and water fountains. Musicians playing for 45 minutes each starting at the top of the hour. Other scheduled events will be announced.

Table/Activity Registration Information

Non-Profit Organization: Registration (space for an activity) is free.

For Profit Organizations: Registration (space for an activity) is $50.

All Entities

  • Provide your own table/tent/chairs.
  • Develop a fun activity/contest.
  • Provide small prizes if appropriate.
  • Share information about your organization.
  • Bring your own refreshments or purchase on site.
